Custom Airbrush Spray Tanning
Here at Sunsations, we specialize in Spray Tanning! We have an on-site trainer for the #1 Spray Tan brand Norvell, she has trained students from as far away as New Zealand! Kelly and her staff focus on perfecting the art of spray tanning and many of our customers have a favorite artist – be sure to make an appointment so you can request your favorite as well!
The best complement you can give a trainer is loving the results from those she has trained. Kelly always has another Norvell Specialist Master Certify her staff once they have completed their first year of spray tanning and show the skill level necessary to pass the certification level.

Hi! My name is Jordan Kelly, after meeting Kelly at a Jimmy Buffet concert I started working for her at Sunsations in April of 2008 while still in high school. When I moved back to Topeka to finish my degree I was happily welcomed back to Sunsations. I have been here ever since and have worked my way up to Manager where I’ve have been SmartTan UV certified since July of 2008, SmartTan Ambassadors certified since 2011 and Master Spray Tan Certified by Norvell since January of 2016. As someone who is on the fair side my favorite way to stay tan is to Airbrush Spray Tan – I switch between colors Cosmo and Venetian and I just love that it’s quick, easy and gives me a natural glow every time! There is always something to learn or a new product to try; my favorite part of my job is continuing to educate myself and our staff so we can give you the best experience here at Sunsations!

I’m Lauren, I’m 24 years old and I have been at Sunsations since May of 2019. I took a break in 2021 to finish completing my bachelor’s degree at Washburn University but found myself eagerly returning in May of 2021 to help and continue my Sunsations career. I’ve loved every minute of being back. From giving spray tans, to offering our customers top UV equipment and lotions, to teaching our customers about our new Red Light Therapy spa commodities we have. In May of 2022 I was promoted to Assistant Manager of Products and UV Tanning and soon I hope to be Norvell Master certified in giving sunless spray tans. Devoted’s Herbal CBD 1000mg or Tanovation’s Maui Mood, along with 12 minutes in our new SunX bed are my favorite combinations to get my perfect color. Come see me on the weekends

Automated Booth Spray Tanning
The Pura Sunless booth features the latest technology in Sunless Tanning. In this brand new booth the customer will have more options than older more limited booths with the ability to have a skin priming prep spray, the option of a clear or bronze session or our most popular Venetian. The Pura also features heated dry passes after each spray to ensure the customer is comfortable and dry after their session.
To prepare your skin for a sunless session whether in a booth or with an artist there are a few things to keep in mind:
Shower, exfoliate and shave 24-48 hours prior to you session. If needed we offer Sluff pads to help you exfoliate when you visit us.
Do NOT apply any lotions/oils, perfumes, cologne, make-up to your skin. Do NOT use hair spray nor spray deodorant. We have primer products available that will not block the spray tan from absorbing, but over the counter products are sure to block or inhibit the spray tan.
Wear dark and loose clothing to go home in. Some of the solution may rub off on your clothing. However, the solution will wash-out of most fabrics. Do NOT wear silk, satin, lycra, spandex, nylon, wool nor leather.
Flip Flops are ideal for your feet, disposable footwear and underwear is available. NOTE: Please bring an umbrella if it looks like rain.
